The Channahon Police Department arrested 41-year-old Antonio Zaragoza, of Minooka, after a fight at El Burrito Loco in the 27000 block of West Eames Street in Channahon around 2:45 Tuesday afternoon.
Investigators say five people from two separate groups were involved in a fight that started in the restaurant and continued into the parking lot. One victim was stabbed in the stomach and fled the scene with two witnesses to seek medical treatment.
The second group, including Zaragoza and one other person, fled westbound away from the restaurant. Zaragoza was arrested for aggravated battery and was taken to the Grundy County Jail around six in the evening.
The stabbing victim was taken to Morris Hospital with serious injuries. It is unclear what started the fight. Police say a knife was found during the investigation, which is still ongoing.
