The following individuals were arrested and booked into the Carter County Detention Center over the past week. This list includes local arrests only. It does not include federal inmates being housed at or transported through the detention center.
- Madison Campbell, 21, of Grayson, self-surrender, drug court, arrested and booked May 9.
- Jeffery Huey, 46, of Grayson, arrested by Kentucky State Police, on charges of failure to produce insurance card, possession of open alcoholic beverage container in a motor vehicle, failure to notify department of transportation of address change, failure to wear seat belts, no registration plates, no registration receipt, and non-payment of court costs, fees, or fines, arrested and booked May 10.
- Timothy Tackett, 24, of Grayson, arrested by Grayson PD, on three counts of failure to appear, arrested and booked May 11.
- Anthony Gray, 39, of Olive Hill, arrested by Carter County Sheriff, on a charge of flagrant non-support, arrested and booked May 11.
- Sherry Barker, 42, of Grayson, arrested by Carter County Sheriff, on a probation violation (for felony offense), arrested and booked May 12.
- Arie Callihan, 51, of Olive Hill, charges unavailable, arrested and booked May 13.
- Raymond Dearfield, 58, of Hitchins, self-surrender, weekender, arrested and booked May 13.
- Eric Hanna, 31, of Hitchins, arrested by Grayson PD, on charges of public intoxication on a controlled substance (excludes alcohol), receiving stolen property valued at more than $500 but less than $1,000, and theft by unlawful taking or disposition more than $500 but less than $1,000, arrested and booked May 14.
- Brett Bush, 38, of Grayson, arrested by Grayson PD, on charges of second degree fleeing or evading police (on foot), and two counts of non-payment of court costs, fees, or fines, arrested and booked May 15.
- Dylan Evans, 25, of Muncie, IN, arrested by Grayson PD, on four counts of failure to appear, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, arrested and booked May 15.
- Jesse Stephens, 31, of Olive Hill, arrested by Kentucky State Police, on two counts of failure to appear, arrested and booked May 15.
- Patrick Garris, 43, of Olive Hill, arrested by Elliott County Sheriff, for failure to appear, arrested and booked May 15.
- Michael Newman, 38, of Rush, arrested by Boyd County Jail, for failure to appear, arrested and booked May 16.
- Megan Wyatt, 33, of Grayson, arrested by Carter County Sheriff, on two counts of failure to appear, arrested and booked May 16.
- Charles Riffe, 59, of Grayson, arrested by Carter County Sheriff, on charges of permitting a vicious dog to run at large, and second degree cruelty to animals, arrested and booked May 16.
