Among those from Mizzou Athletics in Kennett for Monday night’s Come Home Tour event was a coach who is no stranger to this area. Dickie Nutt, former head basketball coach at both Arkansas State and Southeast Missouri State, was recently named an assistant working with newly minted Head Coach Dennis Gates. Nutt said Gates wants to put a recruiting fence around Missouri.
Nutt said fans can expect a fast pace from Mizzou next season; they want to score in the first six seconds of a game.
