A Blairsville woman charged with criminal homicide is set to have a motions hearing today in front of Indiana County President Judge Thomas Bianco.
Court documents say that Matraca Lynn Vrana of Blairsville will take part in an omnibus pre-trial motions hearing for relief connected with the investigation of the death of her boyfriend, 27-year-old Matthew Hill of Blairsville, on September 10th of 2021. She faces charges of criminal homicide, voluntary manslaughter and aggravated assault. Her court schedule states that she is due back for a criminal call hearing on August 5th.
Also due for a motions hearing today is 22-year-old Patrick Allan Spears of DuBois, who is charged with aggravated and simple assault, reckless endangerment, and two summary counts of harassment for an incident on July 25th of last year. He has filed a habeas corpus motion to dismiss charges against him. Jury selection is scheduled for September 19th.
