Sony LinkBuds S is set to weigh just 4.8 grams each-and it comes with ANC, unlike the previous LinkBuds released this year. Aside from the ANC of the latest wireless earbuds, it is expected that it will feature high-res audio and 5mm drivers with slightly longer battery life.

Users can get up to 20 hours of listening with the LinkBuds S with the charging case, while up to six hours of listening time without the case.

According to WinFuture, the earbuds may support Sony's speak-to-chat mode that allows users to pause audio automatically when they start talking. It could also come with adaptive sound control that switches between an ambient sound mode that will let users hear the world around them.

Furthermore, it will come in three colors-black, white, and beige. You can also check out SnoopTech's promotional images here. The Sony LinkBuds S will go on sale for around $209.85.

The Sony LinkBuds S comes with the IPX4 water resistance rating, which makes sweat and water splash not a problem at all. It will also have Bluetooth 5.2 support and Adaptive Sound Control functional for the optimal listening experience that can automatically adjust the surroundings.

Sony will allegedly market the LinkBuds S as the smallest and lightest earbuds that support ANC and High-Res Audio.

Bringing the Power of Creativity and Technology

Aside from the new earbuds, Sony is also set to announce a new hardware launch event based on last week's WH-1000XM5 announcement

Vision-S is also being tested on public roads, while the Airpeak S1, their professional drone, is also the world's smallest drone that can be equipped with a full-size mirrorless Alpha camera.

These new releases align with the company's purpose to "fill the world with emotion, through the power of creativity and technology. This is based on their corporate direction of "getting closer to people."

The brand is working to bring new value that will inspire people's emotions by getting closer to users and creators.

During a press conference held on January 4, 2022, Kenichiro Yoshida, the Chairman, President, and CEO of Sony Group Corporation said, "Throughout the past two challenging years, we have reaffirmed the importance of our Purpose."

He said that the company aims to connect more deeply with those who share the same interests. The CEO also mentioned their work with artists, such as Adele on her new album "30" and talked about the latest technologies and initiatives to support creators.
