New voting precinct in Samson for primary

SAMSON, Ala. (WDHN) — Due to flooring and other structural issues, one of the largest voting precincts
western Geneva County had to be moved to another location.

Recently, the Samson Senior center was closed and temporarily relocated. Several hundred voters who cast their ballots at the senior center have been redirected. To vote at the First United Methodist Church of Samson’s Adams Center Fellowship Hall.

Samson city councilman, Roger Bane, hopes the location change will not be too much of an inconvenience for the electorate.

The Samson voting relocation to the First United Methodist Adams Center will be in effect for next week’s primary and runoff races to be held on Tuesday, June 21.
