High School Baseball: East Central vs. Vancleave

When Vancleave and East Central both crashed on their course to the 5A South State Finals, it was hard to imagine a world in which this series would not be decided by a game three.

Tonight is win or go home, East Central rolling out the welcome mat for the Bulldogs, having won three of the five total match-ups this year by a combined three runs.

East Central erupts in the later innings, ends up being a 10-run rule in the fifth and that’s your ball game, statement win for the Hornets as they set up the same exact State Championship match-up as 5A softball East Central and Neshoba Central.
