TRAVERSE CITY -- The Gaylord Blue Devil softball program is as strong as ever and that includes its impressive run to the state semifinals a year ago.

The Blue Devils returned everyone from last year's squad and that was on display Tuesday against Traverse City Central in the Big North Conference.

Gaylord won the first game of a doubleheader 10-0 and took the second game 4-1.
