PITTSFIELD, Mass. – Matt Lee struck out 14 and allowed just one hit Tuesday in Taconic’s complete-game, 5-0 win over Westfield.

Lee walked just two hitters in winning his seventh game of the season while lowering his earned run average to a microscopic .370.

He also avenged Taconic’s only loss of the season, a 4-1 defeat in Westfield way back on April 11, as the Thunder improved to 16-1.

Bo Bramer went 2-for-2 at the plate, and Evan Blake homered and drove in a pair of runs.

Taconic learns later this week who it will play in the first round of the PVIAC Western Mass tournament.
