MACON, Ga. (WGXA) -- The Supreme Court of Georgia heard appeals filed by three men who were arrested in connection to separate murders.
Jemerius Goodman was convicted of felony murder for the 2017 fatal drive-by shooting of Jyleel Soloman in Milledgeville and filed an appeal, arguing that there was insufficient evidence to support his conviction.
Hymethius Malik Johnson was convicted malice murder and felony murder for the 2016 shooting death of Javontae Passard in Macon and filed an appeal stating that the court refused to instruct jurors to consider a lesser charge of voluntary manslaughter.
Anighyah Neal was convicted of felony murder for the 2016 shooting death of Lance Williams in Warner Robins and filed an appeal contending that evidence was insufficient to support his convictions.
All three men's convictions were upheld, as decided by the Supreme Court on Tuesday
