The multi-day search for David Boley ended on Tuesday afternoon after the Appanoose County Sheriff's Office conducted a search warrant at the Centerville residence of Cristina Boley, the wife of David Boley.Court documents show it all started on Saturday. Boley tried to hide a stolen tractor in a family's backyard in the town of Iconium — threatening them with a handgun.According to the Appanoose County Sheriff's Office, Deputy Gary Buckalew arrived and took the handgun from Boley. David Boley then hit Buckalew in the head, taking the handgun back. Buckalew suffered multiple facial fractures. Buckalew was taken to a local hospital.On Sunday, authorities report that Boley committed a burglary at 17578 Highway J18. He allegedly kicked in the door to the residence.At that time the homeowner confronted Boley with a firearm. Boley then fled the residence traveling westbound on foot. Court documents show that on Monday, deputies were searching Boley's home with a warrant. Boley was found hiding under his son's bed, with a glass pipe and meth.Boley faces a dozen charges including disarming a peace officer, burglary and sex abuse. Police said Boley has been on a crime spree since Thursday. Cristina Boley is also charged with aiding and abetting.
