Four Aberdeen Central golfers place in top eight as Eagles claim team title in Watertown

With four golfers in the top eight, the Aberdeen Central girls golf team won the Watertown Arrow Invitational Tuesday at Cattail Crossing Golf Course.

Central was led by junior Leah Gough and Emma Dohrer, who both carded rounds of 79 to tie for third with Watertown's Riley Zebroski.

Olivia Braun finished sixth for the Eagles with an 81, and Kyley Wirebaugh's 84 was good for eighth place.

Harrisburg's Reese Jansa shot a 74 to claim medalist honors. Huron's Bryn Huber was three strokes behind in second.

The Eagles won the team competition by 12 strokes. Harrisburg took second in the team race, followed by Watertown, Pierre and Brookings.
