St. Cloud house fire causes $150,000 in damage

A St. Cloud house fire caused an estimated $150,000 in structure and content loss Tuesday morning, according to the St. Cloud Fire Department.

The fire department responded to the residence about 6 a.m. Tuesday and found fire coming out of the two-story home on three sides. All occupants were confirmed to be safely out of the home and the fire was extinguished. Two adults are being assisted by the American Red Cross. There were no injuries to occupants or firefighters, but one cat was killed in the fire.

The fire is under investigation by the Fire Marshal's office and St. Cloud Police Department Investigation Division. The fire department was assisted by the St. Cloud Police Department, Mayo Ambulance, Xcel Energy and St. Cloud Public Works.
