Perhaps much like many others in the NBA world, Brooklyn Nets star Kevin Durant is just really tired of hearing Patrick Beverley insult and criticize his peers with baseless and over-the-top accusations. The problem is the Minnesota Timberwolves guard is being given the opportunity to run his mouth on live TV.

Beverley has been in the headlines as of late, but for all the wrong reasons. First, he attacked Chris Paul and slandered the Phoenix Suns star before taking a shot at Devin Booker. Then, he had to question the legitimacy of the Los Angeles Lakers' 2020 championship in the bubble, highlighting that it has an asterisk — as if he won the championship before and knows what deserves to have an asterisk or not, if any.

Upon seeing Beverley make a mockery of the NBA like he's a superstar who has actually done something unquestionably significant, Durant took to Twitter in a desperate plea to get him off TV. The Nets star just can't seem to believe that the Timberwolves guard is being allowed to say things with no holds barred despite having no proof of what he's saying and purely based on what he believes — much of it fueled by his beef with others (remember, he doesn't have a good relationship with Paul).

It's easy to see why Kevin Durant is frustrated and mad about what Patrick Beverley is doing. Aside from the Nets star, the likes of Damian Lillard and Matt Barnes also didn't like that he keeps talking about negative stuff on live TV and mocking others as if he was perfect and didn't make any mistakes in the playoffs.

Unfortunately for everyone, while a lot of people hate it, there are also several others who consume such kind of content due to their love of NBA drama.
