(West Union, IA) — The Fayette County Sheriff’s Office says a Clermont man who was the target of a nationwide manhunt has turned himself in. Forty-five-year-old Eric Nordrum is accused of sexually assaulting a child under the age of five while the child was in his home. Nordrum faces a charge of child sex abuse. Authorities say he surrendered at the sheriff’s office in West Union this morning (Tuesday) at 10:30 a-m. Investigators say the evidence has led to several additional allegations that are being checked out.
