[SPOILER WARNING]

The Doctor Strange sequel was widely-rumored to feature mind-blowing cameos of different characters from the past franchises. And when the film finally hit the theaters, fans were on the edge of their seats as they witnessed returns of characters and variants, including Patrick Stewart's Professor X, Anson Mount’s Black Bolt, Lashana Lynch's Maria Rambeau Captain Marvel Variant, Hayley Atwell's Captain Carter, and John Krasinki's Reed Richards of the Fantastic Four.

While fans glory over Professor X's return to the MCU, which seemingly hints that the X-Men might finally come to the MCU sooner than expected, John Krasinski's debut as Mr. Fantastic was also celebrated by the fans, and it looks like the reboot of the long-awaited franchise is finally under development.

But the Fantastic Four won't definitely happen without the group's arch-nemesis, Doctor Doom. And now that Krasinski's Reed Richards has surfaced in the MCU, it appears that Marvel fans have found their Doctor Doom with Netflix's Peaky Blinders lead star, Cillian Murphy.

Well, one thing is for sure, the multi-awarded actor Cillian Murphy would undoubtedly portray Doctor Doom with perfection. Given the actor's versatility and long career in the acting industry, the MCU should totally give him a call.

However, for now, it might not be the perfect time for Murphy to join the MCU, as he is currently the lead of Christopher Nolan's new film, Oppenheimer, a biopic that centers on the 'the Father of Atomic Bomb.'

But who knows? John Krasinski's casting as Mister Fantastic also looked impossible at one point, but if Marvel could cast Krasinski, they can positively bring Cillian Murphy to the mega-franchise.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is still showing in theaters worldwide.
