Last year, Livingston Central needed 10 innings to beat Crittenden County and advance to the district championship game.

On Monday, they only needed half that as they rolled Trigg County 10-0 to get a return match with the Lady Rockets, who ousted top-seed Lyon County 20-2 in the other semifinal.

Emersyn Ramage had a double and four RBI at the plate, and Madison Bolte held Trigg to three singles and needed only 60 pitches to pick up the five-inning win.

Ramage doubled home Livingston’s first two runs of the game in the first inning.

After a single run in the second inning, Livingston broke the game open with five runs in the fourth. Victoria Joiner drove home two with a double. Ramage added a sacrifice fly, and Calista Jennings had an RBI single to push the lead to 8-0.

Livingston ended the game in the home half of the fifth when Maddie Norton doubled home a run and Ramage added her second sacrifice fly of the game.

Livingston’s first four batters — Hadley Hargrove, Norton, Joiner, and Ramage were 7-for-9 with seven RBI and six runs scored.

Trigg County’s season ends at 9-14, while Livingston Central improves to 19-11 under first-year coach Monty Todd.
