Load Limit Sign

CLEARWATER COUNTY - Due to weather, the Clearwater County Road Department has opted to leave load limits on county roads in place until the first week of June. Weather permitting, the load limits may be lifted earlier.

Meanwhile, on Wednesday, May 18, load limits will be lifted on Grangemont Road from the city limits to Cow Creek, with a 35 MPH maximum speed limit for loaded trucks. Permits may be issued from Cow Creek to Highway 11 on Grangemont until the load limits are lifted completely.

On the same day, load limits will also be lifted on Upper Fords Creek Road from mile marker 10 to the Clearwater Highway District line, with a 35 MPH maximum speed limit for loaded trucks.

Permits are required from the city limit to mile marker 10 on Upper Fords Creek year round.
