ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (WFLA) — Investigators have identified Deno Conley as the man found dead in the garage of a home in St.Petersburg.
Jeffery Tillman was arrested by Clearwater police on a first-degree murder at 6:41 p.m., Tuesday.
The St. Petersburg Police Department said the 38-year-old was was hired by the owner of the home on 38th Street North to work on some renovations.
Officers responded to a call about suspicious circumstances at the house at 1:20 p.m., Tuesday.
After arriving at the home, officers found Conley dead in the garage.
According to detectives the two are longtime acquaintances. Tillman is accused of stabbing Conley when he stopped by the house for a visit.
