Emergency crews are working to reopen Interstate 95 in Jasper County following a fire that sent flames and black smoke billowing into the air.
The incident was reported shortly before 1 p.m. at the on-ramp for I-95 at Exit 38.
Jasper County Fire Rescue said an RV and a vehicle it was pulling caught fire.
The cause is under investigation but the two vehicles are considered a total loss.
No injuries were reported.
The fire shutdown traffic on the northbound side and also caused delays on the southbound side.
