The time for the Oregon Ducks' season opener against the Georgia Bulldogs is set.

The Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game will kick off at 12:30 p.m. Sept. 3 and air on ABC, the network announced. Oregon and Georgia will play at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, 70 miles from the Bulldogs' campus.

This will be the first time Oregon and Georgia have played each other since 1977. Most notably, Dan Lanning will make his debut as the Ducks coach against the team where he was an assistant coach for four seasons, including last year when he helped the Bulldogs to a national championship.

According to the university athletic department, Oregon's allotment of tickets for the game against Georgia is already sold out. According to TicPick, an online marketplace for events tickets based in New York, the cheapest ticket for the game is $282.

Last month in Las Vegas on "The Paul Finebaum Show," Lanning said he was looking forward to playing his former team in Oregon's season opener.

"What an opportunity," Lanning said. "You get an opportunity to test yourself early against one of the best teams in the nation. Obviously, I have a lot of respect for that program and what they've built over the last few years, but I think it's a great test for our players to go in there and see what we're made of.
