Incumbent Cutler wins Pender Co. sheriff primary

PENDER COUNTY, N.C. (WECT) - Sheriff Alan Cutler, who is seeking a second term as the top law enforcer in Pender County, led the way in the Republican primary voting with all precincts reporting Tuesday night.

Cutler had 3,281 votes, finishing ahead of Mike Sorg (2,426) and Mike Korn (328).

The vote totals are unofficial until they are canvassed by county elections officials.

No Democrats have filed to run for sheriff in the county.
