Early in the morning of May 15, authorities responded to a house fire in Ephraim. According to reports, a neighbor discovered the fire about 3:00 a.m. Fortunately the residents of the home, Kendon Sorensen, his wife and four children, were out of town at the time so no one was injured. The cause of the fire is still under investigation, but is believed to have been caused by an electrical issue.
The home is considered a complete loss. The Sorensen family shared their gratitude for their neighbors, church ward and the community who found them a place to live furnished with food, clothing and other things they lost in the fire.
