Man and woman on motorcycle sought in east Birmingham robbery

Authorities are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man and a woman wanted in connection with a robbery in east Birmingham.

The robbery happened on Tuesday, May 10, in the 9800 block of Parkway East. Officer Truman Fitzgerald said a community member was robbed of undisclosed personal property.

No injuries were reported, but Fitzgerald said the suspects threatened to shoot the victim.

The suspects are described as a Black male and Black female who were traveling on a motorcycle.

Anyone with information is asked to call robbery detectives at 205-254-1753 or Crime Stoppers at 205-254-7777. Anonymous tips can also be submitted to Crime Stoppers through the Birmingham Police Department’s Mobile App.
