Prosecutors filed a charge against a Macon man, accusing him of raping a child in 1989 in Boonville.

Arnold O. Johnson, Jr., is charged with one count of statutory sodomy.
Documents from the Cooper County Prosecutor's Office show the victim was at the home of her aunt and Johnson.
The girl said she had asked Johnson for a piece of candy.
He told her to go into a bedroom and then sexually assaulted her.

The girl was five or six at the time. Johnson was 23 or 24.
