DAV, or Disabled American Veterans, will be coming to Lake County to host a seminar to help veterans and their families obtain the services and benefits they have earned.
DAV, a nonprofit charity that provides a lifetime of support for veterans of all generations and their families, will hold the seminar from 9 a.m. to noon, on May 19 at 28960 Lakeland Blvd. in Wickliffe.
Staffed by DAV national service officers, the seminar will provide professional support throughout the claims and appeals process, according to a news release. Veterans attending should bring identification, their Social Security number and any other pertinent documentation regarding their military service.
DAV membership is not required to utilize these free services.
