Drinking outside is a big sign that spring/summer has arrived. Who doesn't love to sit outside on a nice day and have a drink, especially if it's on the water? On the islands and in beach towns you can find many bars and restaurants that overlook the water or are even out in the water. Texas now has its very own floating barge that has been turned into a party spot. This gem is located in Seabrook, Texas. According to Wikipedia, Seabrook is located near Houston:

Seabrook is a city in Harris County in the U.S. state of Texas, with some water surface area located within Chambers County. The population was 11,952 at the 2010 U.S. census,[5] and 14,149 in 2019.[6] Several fish markets line the city's waterfront, while antique shops and bed and breakfast establishments are found in the city's downtown area. The city is home to several miles of trails, which connect multiple city parks to each other

Please allow me to introduce you to Barge 295, located on Clear Lake in Seabrook, Texas. Barge 295 is known for being a local hot spot with great drinks, delicious food, and live music.

You can obviously drive to the barge or you can just pull your boat right up into one of the slips.

According to Only In Your State, here is what you can expect:

There's covered, open-air seating, as well as an upper and lower patio, each with its own separate bar. The drink menu emphasizes local breweries and distilleries, boasting a wide selection of beverages sure to please everyone's tastes. As for the food, you'll see a little bit of everything, from juicy burgers and steaks to hearty gumbo and everything in between. If you have a hankering for fresh seafood, you're in luck. Several different types of Gulf oysters are available, so whether you like them raw or smothered in butter and cheese, you'll leave the table satisfied. Other menu items include wings, nachos, fried shrimp, salads, and appetizers. There are also specials on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, ranging from steak to tacos.

This is definitely a place I would love to hang out. Maybe I will try it out the next time I head to the Houston area.
