Former teacher and state rep. candidate arrested for criminal sexual conduct

CHARLEVOIX COUNTY, Mich., (WPBN/WGTU) – A former schoolteacher andGOP candidate for State Representative has been charged with two counts of second-degree criminal sexual conduct, according to documents from the 90th District Court in Charlevoix.

Tony Cutler, of Boyne City, pleaded not guilty to the charges on Tuesday, May 10.
Court documents show the alleged offense occurred in July 2021.
Cutler is out on $20,000 bond.
Bond conditions include that he cannot possess a firearm and can have no contact with a minor, according to court documents.
A pretrial is scheduled for May 24 at 9:30 a.m.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for May 31 at 2:30 p.m.
