A teenager was taken into custody after a deadly shooting in Clark County, according to the sheriff’s office.

Deputies said they responded to reports of gunshots at the Gold West Mobile Home Park just after 11 p.m. Monday night.

When deputies got to the scene, they found evidence someone may have been shot, but no victim.

A short time later, deputies got a report of a crash a few blocks away.

Deputies said the driver was found dead of a gunshot wound.

The boy taken into custody faces several charges including murder II and unlawful possession of a firearm.

Deputies did not name the suspect or victim.
