Traffic Stop Leads To Drug Arrest

On May 14th at approximately 3:00pm, a Deputy with the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on South 21st St. in Paducah, KY. The vehicle was a 1986 Suzuki motorcycle driven by 33-year-old Matthew S. Wedge of Hopkins County, KY.
During the investigation, it was discovered that Wedge was in possession of a quantity of Crystal Methamphetamine, Marijuana, Illegally Possessed Prescription Medication, and several items related to Drug Paraphernalia. Wedge was also in possession of two loaded handguns which enhances the drug related charges.
Wedge was arrested and lodged at the McCracken County Regional Jail.

• Possession of Cont. Subs. 1st (Methamphetamine) (Firearm Enhanced)

• Prescription not in Proper Container
