Highlights from Gucci's Cosmogonie show

Gucci is the latest house to take the fashion pack to an interesting and exotic location for a show. Following on from Chanel's runway on the beach in Monte Carlo and Louis Vuitton's San Diego presentation, Gucci hosted a spectacular show at the Castel Del Monte in Puglia last night.

Entitled 'Gucci Cosmogonie', the show was a celebration of the stars – and paid homage to philosophers Hannah Arendt and Walter Benjamin.

"Mystical encounters and mythological places – it is all written in the stars," the house explained of the inspiration. "In Gucci Cosmogonie, Alessandro Michele gathered elements that at first sight seem atomised and dispersed, but become an assembly of complicity – 'a connective structure that lights up the darkness through the epiphany of a constellation.'"
