Jacksonville's first Memorial Health urgent care health clinic is set to open in February.

The clinic, which is under construction, will be located in the Lincoln Square Shopping Center at 901 W. Morton Ave.

The clinic will offer care for patients with minor injuries and illnesses, such as common respiratory symptoms (including COVID-19), ear pain, skin rashes and infections, minor breaks and sprains, minor cuts and burns, and urinary symptoms.

Travis Dowell, president and CEO of Memorial Medical Group said Memorial is continually looking for ways to improve access to health care in the communities it serves.

"Memorial Care’s new urgent care location allows us to improve access to health care in Jacksonville. We already have a strong primary care presence in Jacksonville, and this new facility will complement that primary care access,” Dowell said. “Our urgent care location will allow patients and our colleagues to receive care for their non-emergent medical needs without making a trip to the emergency department."

The Jacksonville clinic will be Memorial Health’s seventh urgent care location in central Illinois.
