A wanted felon was arrested in Vincennes on Monday following a tip from the public.

Just before 3:30 pm yesterday, officers with the Vincennes Police Department responded to the 200 block of Hart Street after getting a tip that a wanted male subject, identified as 24-year-old Roger Fleetwood, was allegedly at the residence involved in drug related activity.

Officers arrived at the residence and say they saw Fleetwood attempt to exit through a bedroom window before retreating inside.

Officers were able to enter the residence and safely take Fleetwood into custody. While doing so, officers observed several drug related items in plain view and a search warrant was obtained for the residence.

The search warrant yielded approximately 60.4 grams of K2 which is a Schedule I Drug. Officers also found many items of paraphernalia.

Fleetwood was arrested and booked into the Knox County Jail.

In addition to a Knox County and Daviess County warrant, Fleetwood is charged with Dealing in a Schedule I Drug, Possession of a Schedule I Drug, and Possession of Paraphernalia.
