City seeks ‘artisan vendors’ for inaugural Market in the Park @ Riverfront

Stevens Point is introducing a new element to Riverfront Rendezvous 2022.

The inaugural Market in the Park will debut at this year’s weekend-long festival, held July 1-3 at Pfiffner Pioneer Park just west of downtown Stevens Point.

Market in the Park will be held, rain or shine, from noon to 5 p.m. on July 2 on the lawn of the Pfiffner Building, 401 Franklin St.

The city’s parks department is taking applications from vendors for the market. Vendors selling jewelry, pottery, farmers, gourmet foods, services, and other artisans can apply by June 15 for a 10’x10′ space. The fee is $20, and each vendor is responsible for their own electricity, tables/chairs, tents, and other items.

Anyone interested can fill out an application here. Applicants will be notified within three business days if they have been accepted for the market.
