Medina County Auditor Releases Weekly Report

Mike Kovack, Medina County Auditor, today released the following information regarding county finances for the week of May 9 through May 13, 2022.

The largest income source was from the public library fund in the amount of $669,902.57 and the local government fund in the amount of $593,633.93. The Auditor’s Accounting Department issued 554 checks for total expenditures of $2,172,502.75. The Commissioners approved expenditures totaling $1,329,176.54. There was one vendor’s license issued.

At this time in 2021, the largest income source was from sales tax in the amount of $1,162,840.06, and from school sales tax in the amount of $1,162,828.82. The Auditor’s Accounting Department issued 565 checks for total expenditures of $1,230,408.96. The Commissioners approved expenditures totaling $1,080,516.44. There were no vendors licenses issued.

There were 64 residential home sales this week. The average sale price for a home in Medina County this week was $265,397.78. The total fees collected for residential transfers was $50,215.10. There were 3 commercial sales this week and the average sale price was $871,443.66. The total fees collected for commercial transfers was $7,846.70.

At this time in 2021, there were 89 residential home sales this week. The average sale price for a home in Medina County this week was $214,096. The total fees collected for residential transfers was $57,236.50. There were no commercial sales this week.
