Coronation Street spoilers follow.

Coronation Street's Abi Webster confides in her estranged husband Kevin next week as she continues to plot her escape with baby Alfie.

Abi has decided to flee the country with her young son after losing hope of ever winning custody of him.

Viewers recently saw Alfie's father Imran Habeeb lie in court by claiming that Abi was back on drugs, which unfairly swayed the custody battle in his favour.

In next week's episodes, Abi puts the next steps of her fightback plan into action.

Abi approaches Imran and his wife Toyah, asking if she can have Alfie for a whole day the following Monday.

Kind-hearted Toyah agrees and Imran is reluctantly forced to go along with it.

Later in the week, Abi gets hold of two fake passports, which she plans to use to travel to Costa Rica with Alfie.

Abi is stopped in her tracks when Kevin admits that he never stopped loving her. She responds with a confession of her own, explaining that she'll be leaving tomorrow and plans to take Alfie with her.

Kevin is left with a dilemma when Abi urges him to keep her plan a secret.

Struggling to go along with this, Kevin confides in his sister Debbie about how Abi is plotting to abduct Alfie.

Debbie tells Kevin that he has two choices – either tell Imran the truth, or hope that Abi gets away with it.

Kevin then approaches Imran in the street, but will he tell him about Abi's intentions?

Coronation Street airs these scenes on Wednesday, May 25 and Friday, May 27 at 8pm on ITV and ITV Hub.
