Ex-Big Brother star Wes Dening lands a major TV executive job with the producers behind Byron Baes and Australia's Got Talent
A former Big Brother Australia contestant is now an executive for a leading television production company.
Wes Dening, who placed eighth on season four of Big Brother in 2004, has been promoted to Head of Global Formats at Eureka Productions, which makes hit shows such as Byron Baes, The Amazing Race and Luxe Listings Sydney.
Eureka also produces and develops unscripted shows for Fremantle Australia, including the likes of Farmer Wants a Wife, Australian Idol and Australia's Got Talent.

The former model and TV host, 38, will develop unscripted shows for production in the United States and Australia, reports TV Tonight.
After rising to fame as a Big Brother housemate, Mr Dening has built a successful, award-winning career as a television producer.
He founded the Los Angeles-based company WDE, producers of the Fox reality show The Stafford Brothers.

Mr Dening has also had success with the Netflix reality series Dating Around.
Debuting in 2019, the Eureka-produced format follows a single contestant as they pursue love across five blind dates.
Netflix renewed the show for a second season in 2020.
Mr Dening has overseen production and development on other Eureka Productions shows, including competitive mini-golf series Holey Moley.
The Australian version of Holey Moley debuted on Seven in 2021 to an impressive 1.01 million metro viewers before its audience dropped sharply.
One of the most successful shows Mr Dening has been involved with during his time at Eureka is Crikey! It's The Irwins.
Following the family of late zookeeper and conservationist Steve Irwin, the reality show is now in its fourth season on Animal Planet.
Starring Steve's widow Terri, 57, and children, Bindi, 23, and Robert, 18, the program gives viewers unprecedented access to the Irwins' lives, from feeding crocodiles at their zoo on the Sunshine Coast to their wildlife conservation work around the globe.
The show also features Bindi's American husband Chandler Powell, 25, and the daughter they share, Grace Warrior, who recently turned one.
