The 2022 NBA Conference Finals matchups are all set, and the Golden State Warriors will face the Dallas Mavericks. Luka Doncic and his squad were massive underdogs against the Phoenix Suns last round, and after winning the series in seven games, they head to the Bay Area where they won't be the favorite to advance again.

But this time, they won't have the same luck they did against Chris Paul and the Suns. Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green all have one thing on their mind, and that's winning a championship. Upsetting this motivated Warriors team will be a difficult task, and here are three reasons why that won't happen.

3 Reasons Warriors Will Knock Out Mavs In Western Conference Finals

3. Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green are healthy

The Mavs won the regular-season series against the Warriors 3-1, and so did the Denver Nuggets and Memphis Grizzlies. The thing all three of the Warriors' opponents have in common is they didn't play most or all of the games against Curry, Thompson and Green. Injuries kept the trio off the court together for most of the season.

If one member of the Warriors' Big 3 is missing, they're not the same team. The last two years without Thompson, the Warriors couldn't make the playoffs. Without Curry this season, the Dubs had a losing record, and without Green, they're just not that good.

When all three are together, they've been nearly unbeatable in a series, and that's why they will knock off the Mavs.

2. Andrew Wiggins' All-Star presence

This year the Warriors have a new All-Star in Andrew Wiggins. In the playoffs, he hasn't put up All-Star numbers, but he's doing everything Golden State needs him to do to win games. From rebounding to defending or knocking down clutch shots, Wiggins is ready for whatever. This makes Wiggins one of, if not the biggest X-factors on the team.

So far in the postseason, Wiggins is averaging 14.5 points, 6.9 rebounds, 1.1 blocks and 0.9 steals per game. He's shooting 49.2 percent from the field and 40.0 percent from deep. The 2022 All-Star is doing it all for the Warriors, and he's fully committed to his new role.

That commitment will help the Warriors end the Mavs' season. If Wiggins plays well, the series could be over quicker than many expect.

1. Warriors' defense, homecourt advantage

Nobody stops Doncic, but the Warriors have a host of defenders who can be physical and attempt to wear him down over a seven-game series. After going the distance with the Suns, the Mavs and Doncic could run out of gas. The Warriors will be well-rested, and they have homecourt advantage.

Doncic will likely see Wiggins first, and if he has success against him, Green, Jonathan Kuminga and more Warriors players will get a crack at the crafty young guard.

Having multiple bodies and one of the best defenses in the NBA is the final reason the Warriors will win this series.

Game 1 is usually a contest to feel out your opponent, but in this series, it's will be crucial to get an early win. Letting a game slip away could be costly to either team in the long run. It could be the deciding factor on whether this series is ending quickly or going seven games. The chess match begins on Wednesday, inside the Chase Center.
