Law enforcement in Iowa are asking for the public's help finding a man accused of sexually assaulting a young child.
A nationwide warrant has been issued for 45-year-old Matthew Eric Nordrum, of Clermont, for sex abuse in the second degree, a class “B” felony.
The Fayette County Sheriff’s Office said in a press release Monday that Nordrum could be in the Tri-State area.
Authorities said their investigation began after Nordrum allegedly sexually assaulted a child under the age of 5 while the child was at his home in Clermont.
Now charges have been filed in that case following a two-week investigation, which also led police to uncover three more allegations of sexual assault that are now under investigation.
If you see Nordrum or know where he is, you are asked to call your local authorities or the Fayette County Sheriff’s office at 563-422-6067.
