From Feb. 9 to March 30, the Warriors went 7-16 while dealing with injuries to Draymond Green and Steph Curry. After finishing the regular season off with a five-game win streak, Golden State is now looking at homecourt advantage for the rest of the playoffs.

Curry returned in time for the postseason and has helped the Warriors close out the Denver Nuggets and Memphis Grizzlies so far. ESPN’s Nick Friedell joined 95.7 The Game’s “Steiny & Guru” Monday to share his thoughts on the Warriors, who appear to be peaking at the right time. Check out the full interview below:

“I am really impressed by the fact that the Warriors, after their cold spell in the last couple months, have been able to find that next level in the playoffs when they needed it,” Friedell told hosts Matt Steinmetz and Daryle “The Guru” Johnson. “That is always the sign of a team that is able to win a title. As we all know, this team’s won it before. When you have Steph and Draymond and Klay (Thompson) and (Kevon) Looney in place, those guys know how to be ready to roll when they need it. They’ve gotten to this point and I like their chances to get through Dallas if they can just contain Luka. But easier said than done.”
