Residents of Chelan and Douglas County are invited to participate in a housing survey being put on by Our Valley Our Future (OVOF).

Coordinator Steve Maher said OVOF wants to get a better picture of the housing challenges facing those within the region as well as their experiences in the market.

Questions will include people's current living situation and if they've been active in the housing market recently.

"We're also trying to get a gauge on how much people are spending." Maher said, "What percentage of their household income is going toward housing right now given the increase in median sales price here?"

Information collected will be compiled into a report that will be given to decision makers throughout the region. Maher hopes those leaders will then use OVOF's report to steer conversations moving forward regarding housing solutions.

The survey is expected to take about 15 minutes and will remain open through May.
