The Football Fever: Buckeye-friendly environment in NOLA for Chris Olave

The New Orleans Saints moved up to draft Ohio State receiver Chris Olave, who went 11th overall to the team and Olave appreciated the gesture. "That makes me want to play even harder," Olave told reporters during his first mini camp in New Orleans. Olave is a known for his deep ball receptions that earned him All-American honors at OSU.He joins fellow receiver and former Buckeye Michael Thomas in New Orleans and can't wait to compete with him. The Washington Commanders Terry McLaurin has also been a mentor to the NFL rookie. "He never changes which I appreciate about him. We talk a lot," said Olave of McLaurin.Native Louisianan Jarvis Landry and former Brown has also joined the Saints receiver corps.
