Vera M. Gibson, age 71, of Slayden, TN gained her Angel wings on, May 11, 2022, surrounded by her family.
The Memorial Service will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 17, 2022, at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Rev. Kevin Miner and Rev. David Mackens officiating.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 1 p.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Vera entered this life on April 14, 1951, in Dickson County, TN to the late Robert and Dora Mae Hutchison, one of eighteen children. She was a homemaker, enjoyed caring for children and was an active member of Watershed Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by twelve siblings, and her daughter, Dora Mae Gibson.
She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Bobby R. Gibson, Sr. of the home; children, Cindy Freeman (Donald), of North Carolina, Bobby Jr. (Christina) of Slayden, TN, Linda Malmin (Tim) of Slayden, TN, Richard Gibson, of North Carolina, eleven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
