Krystal's square burger sliders are headed to northeast Arkansas, making it the second location in the state.

KATV's news content partner KAIT 8 News reported the franchise's return to Jonesboro on Monday.

According to KAIT 8 News, Haag Brown Commercial Real Estate and Development made the announcement and said nearly 18 months after, the restaurant will open on May 23.

"As the opening date draws closer, local owners have almost completed their new crew roster," Haag Brown stated. “However, some positions may still be available."

The new "Krystal" restaurant will be located at 2229 S. Caraway in Jonesboro.
