ALTAVISTA, Va. (WFXR) — Three agencies responded to a trailer home that was engulfed in flames in Altavista over the weekend.
The fire was reported just before 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 14 in the 300 block of Peerman School Road.

According to the Altavista Fire Company, heavy fire and smoke were coming from three sides of the trailer.
It took about two hours for crews from Altavista, Evington, and the Campbell County Department of Public Safety to get the fire under control and clear the scene.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
