Police in Holliston, Massachusetts, are investigating after a litter of newborn puppies was found dumped in a box Friday night.Police said a box containing six newborn puppies was left on Cedar Street Friday between 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. Police said the pups are estimated to be less than one week old. The puppies are being cared for by Animal Control. The puppies are not available for adoption. Abandoning animals is illegal in Massachusetts. Anyone with information is asked to contact Holliston police or MSCPA Law Enforcement.

Police in Holliston, Massachusetts, are investigating after a litter of newborn puppies was found dumped in a box Friday night.
