Deputies are looking for a suspected shooter in a drive-by Hamptonville shooting, the sheriff's office said. On May 11, the Yadkin County Sheriff's Office received reports of a drive-by shooting on U.S. Highway 21.This incident was investigated and deputies determined that the shooting was an isolated domestic incident that occurred on Longtown Road.Deputies determined that there was no immediate threat to the area.Warrants for Ben Thomas Hodge, 30, were obtained for assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury and possession of a firearm by a felon.
