Natural Bridge Speedway May 20th And Virginia Motor Speedway May 21st Up Next For The Ultimate Super Late Model Series Southeast Region

Carnesville, Georgia - The Ultimate Super Late Model Series Southeast Region will head into a double header as the Ultimate Southeast Tour will travel to Natural Bridge Speedway located in Natural Bridge, Virginia on Friday May 20th for the "Road To Jamaica" event paying $5,000 to win and on Saturday the Ultimate Southeast Tour will travel to Bill Sawyer's Virginia Motor Speedway located in Jamaica, Virginia for the annual "King of the Commonwealth" event paying $20,000 to win. The "King of the Commonwealth" event is one of the biggest short track events in the State of Virginia and draws the best Dirt Late Model racers on the East Coast.

Friday May 20th race program at Natural Bridge Speedway will include the Ultimate Super Late Model Series Southeast Region ($5,000 | 40 Laps), Crate Late Model, NBS Sportsman, NBS Street Stock, and Pure Stock. Gates will open at 3:00 PM. Drivers meeting is set for 6:00 PM with on track action to follow. General admission will be $25. Pit admission will be $35. Kids 10 and under will be free.

Saturday May 21st race program at Bill Sawyer's Virginia Motor Speedway will include the Ultimate Super Late Model Series Southeast Region ($20,000 | 60 Laps) and the Fastrak Racing Series powered by Chevrolet Performance Pro Late Models ($3,000). Competitor gates will open at 3:00 PM. Spectator gates will open at 4:00 PM. Drivers meeting is scheduled for 5:30 PM. Hot laps at 6:00 PM with racing to follow. The admission price for Adults will be $30; Senior / Military are $25, Students 13 - 17 are $15, and children 12 and under are admitted free. Pit passes will be $40 regardless of age and will get you a seat in the grandstands.

Headed into the next series event the current top five in the Ultimate Southeast Region point standings include Zack Mitchell (132 PTS), Anthony Sanders (124 PTS), Corey Gordon (114 PTS), Brian Ledbetter (105 PTS), and Doug Sanders (90 PTS).

The Ultimate Super Late Model Series Southeast Region has completed five events so far in its 2022 Tour and the Ultimate Southeast Tour has seen four different winners. Brandon Overton (1), Ricky Weiss (1), Zack Mitchell (2), and Michael Rouse (1) have all visited Ultimate victory lane this season. Tire Rule Bulletin: Virginia Motor Speedway ONLY!

After discussion regarding available supply of tires for the Virginia Motor Speedway event on May 21st the Ultimate Super Late Model Series will make the following tires legal for the May 21st VMS event:

LF - OPEN

RF and LR - Hoosier 1350 or American Racer 48 (May change to new LR for feature.)

RR - Hoosier 1350 or American Racer 48 with a Hoosier LCB Late Model D70 or American Racer HD70 option for qualifying, heats, and B-Mains.

For the event feature teams can change the LR and RR. The RR will be mandated to be a Hoosier LCB Late Model D70 or American Racer HD70 only for the 60 lap feature. There will be some of the 70s available at the track but teams are encouraged to get tires ahead if they have the availability in their region.

No Hoosier 1600 or 55s or American Racer 56s will be allowed at this event.
