TILDEN TWP., Pa. - A hiker was rescued on Monday after falling on the Appalachian Trail.
Initial reports say the hiker fell on the Appalachian Trail, about one mile from the John Bartram Trail.
Fire officials from Union Fire Company of Hamburg say a hiker fell and was hurt.
A rescue staging area was organized near the Kernsville Dam.
Rescue crews were able to find and rescue the hiker. The hiker was taken to the hospital for treatment of minor injures.
