OSCEOLA COUNTY, Mich., (WPBN/WGTU) -- (UPDATE May 17) The suspect for a Main Street shooting in Marion has been identified as Dale Ervin Orvis, 36, of Marion, Michigan State Police say.
Orvis was arraigned on May 17 in the Osceola District Court.
Orvis has been charged with assault with a dangerous weapon.
The victim has been identified as Gabriel Charles Richards, 31, of Marion.
Richards is recovering from his injuries.
The incident remains under investigation, police say.

OSCEOLA COUNTY, Mich., (WPBN/WGTU) -- A man has been arrested and lodged at the Osceola County Jail for a shooting in the Village of Marion on Sunday, Michigan State Police say.
Troopers say they responded to shooting on Main Street in Marion at 6:45 p.m. on May 15, after a shooting complaint.
The suspect was arrested and is pending arraignment.
The victim was transported to Munson Medical Center in Traverse City.
Additional information will be released at a later date, police say.
